The Microvision ROV Scanner is a 1D laser, handheld Barcode Scanner with Microvision’s proprietary MEMS technology. Properties inherent to MEMS technology keep the scanner's reliability high and costs low.

The ROV Scanner is capable of transferring scanned barcodes via a Serial cable or Plug'n'Play USB cable. The ROV Scanner with Bluetooth can also connect to most mobile devices with Bluetooth radio technology.

The ROV Barcode Scanner scans bar codes while connected to a host for real-time data collection, or while disconnected and stores barcodes in non-volatile memory for later processing. This provides flexibility and worry-free scanning. All bar codes are stored, even while disconnected. Here's how:

"Batch" Operation	While unplugged, all scanned bar codes are stored in onboard memory. Plug in scanner and bar codes will download to the host. "Connected" Operation	While plugged into the host, scanned bar codes will transfer directly into your software application.	While connected via Bluetooth, scanned bar codes will transfer directly into your software application.
